The Learning Organization Characteristics of Schools in Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the total level of learning organization of schools in Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3,  2) to compare the level of learning organization of schools in Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, categorized by comparing the school size and 3) to propose guidelines for developing the learning organization of schools in Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample for this research were 506 principals, teachers and personnel of educational institution in Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, academic year 2020. The research tools were questionnaire with the entire reliability at .89. The data was analyzed by finding the percentage, average, standard deviation and  F - test / One–way ANOVA.


The findings were as follows:


  1. The analytical result of learning organization level of schools in Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 was overall at a high level (= 4.09). Considering each aspect, it was found that all the aspects were at much level. The following aspects represented the values from the highest to lowest points: team learning (= 4.16), systematic thinking (= 4.14), building shared vision (= 4.12), mental models (= 4.08)  and personal mastery (= 3.94).

  2. The comparative result of learning organization level of schools in Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 , categorized according to the school size was found that the educational principals, teachers and personnel in different schools had the level of opinion in 2 aspects towards the learning organization of schools in Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3; namely, the mental models, building shared vision were non-significantly dissimilar, while the personal mastery, systematic thinking and team learning were significantly different at .05.

  3. The approaches for developing the learning organization level of schools in Chaiyaphoom Province under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 30 was as follows: 3.1) the educational institution should organize training the personnel in team working and learning, 3.2) the educational institution should pay attention to the personnel’s well-being, promoting extra welfare properly, 3.3) the educational institution should support the personnel to invent and to create new innovations, 3.4) the educational institution should have the atmosphere supporting and cultivating the personnel to be aware of learning, and 3.5) the educational institution should develop the strategy and device for sharing knowledge among the personnel.
