Abstract
Research subject Creating a body of knowledge about Alor Community Forest - Don Ban, Village No. 10, Nadi Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surin Province The objectives were as follows: 1) to study the ecosystem of Alor-Donban Community Forest, Nadi Sub-district, Muang District, Surin Province; 2) to study the way of life of people in the community, forest conservation and the community's economic system resulting from forest utilization. Alor-Don Ban Community, Na Di Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surin Province. 3) To produce a knowledge set about Alor-Don Ban Community Forest, Na Di Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surin Province. The research model was qualitative research. This research used a documentary research method and interviewed key informants were 1 monk, religious leader, 1 community philosopher, 3 community leaders. 15 people who use community forests were obtained by selective method of selection. As for the data analysis, the analysis was divided into 3 steps according to the objectives of the research as follows: 1) The ecosystem of Alor-Donban Community Forest in Na Di Sub-district, Mueang District, Surin Province is very rich. There are many valuable trees such as rubber trees, Takhianthong trees, red trees, Pradu trees, Kabak trees, and Sabang trees, etc. 2) The way of life of most people in the community that depend on this community forest is mainly about food. which is a seasonal vegetable and some medicinal herbs that are natural. 3) The knowledge gained can be directly used by the recipient and or can be applied. to suit the situation or the work being done, which is knowledge arising from a particular subject By the knowledge gained, the recipient can use it in different ways.
