Abstract
Thailand is considered a Buddhist country with a majority of 94.6% of Thai nationwide. The importance of Buddhism leads to the fusion of the practice of Buddha Dharma principles by the Thais nationwide. With great importance and deep rooted for a long time. It is of great importance in a variety of issues. The Buddhism role is involved in building a political power base for the people. But Politics is for everyone in a democratic system. Monks are still considered as legitimate citizens, but they do not have the right to vote.
