Effects of Business Ethics on Performance of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs in Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

          The research objectives were 1) to study the relationship between business ethics and performance of small and medium entrepreneurs in Phitsanulok province 2) to study the impact of business ethics and performance of small and medium entrepreneurs in Phitsanulok province. The samples were 311 entrepreneurs in Phitsanulok province by purposive sampling. The research tool was questionnaires that five likert’s scales. The statistics employed percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis in data analyzing. The results found that business ethics influenced on firm performance (β = 0.605, p < 0.01). Integrity and accountability influenced on firm performance (β = 0.262, β = 0.199, p < 0.01). Also, public spiritedness influenced on firm performance (β = 0.150, p < 0.05). Although, transparency did not influence on firm performance (β = 0.605, p > 0.05).
