BEST PRACTICE: MANAGING IN TEACHING AND LEARNING FOR HOTEL OPERATIONS AT THE TERTIARY LEVEL TYPICAL OF SWITZERLAND

Abstract
For over 127 years, Switzerland has been recognized as the country of origin and model of world-renowned hospitality education. The National Council for Peace and Order governing body has approved the Swiss Hotel Higher Education Institution to provide teaching and learning in Thailand. As a model educational institution in hospitality to support the country's development in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the approval may result in higher competition in hotel education in the future. A study of the formats, approaches, and methods of teaching and learning in hospitality in higher education in Switzerland provides helpful information in various dimensions. This will be used as a criterion for determining best practices for the design of teaching and learning courses in hospitality at the Thai higher education level. Both educational management, curriculum, and academic quality assurance have the same potential and have the potential to compete, according to the example of Switzerland.
