AN APPLICATION OF IDDHIPADA 4 IN EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF MONKS-NOVICES, PHRAPARIYATTIDHAMA SCHOOL, FORMAL DEPARTMENT SURATTHANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this research article are 1) to study the use of the principles of Iddhipada 4 in the educational development of monks and novices at Phrapariyattidhama school department of general education, Surat Thani province. And 2) to study the recommendations for using the principle of Iddhipada  4 in the educational development of monks and novices at Phrapariyattidhama school department of General Education Surat Thani province. It's a mixed research. The population used in the quantitative research were monks and novices at Phrapariyattidhama school. Department of General Education This study aims to Surat Thani province, 67 monks. The tool used for data collection was questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis are tequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The tool used for qualitative data collection was structured in-depth interview forms. From a specific random sampling method, 5 Persons. Data was analyzed from interviews with key informants according to research objectives. By using content analysis techniques to accompany the research framework context. The data was collected between March 1, 2022 and April 30, 2022. The data were analyzed for content and an inductive conclusion was analyzed.


The results of research were found that : 1) Monks and novices, in  Phrapariyattidhama school, department of General Education, Surat Thani province The 4 Iddhipada u have been used to develop the education of persons and novices at Phrapariyattidhama school. Department of general education, Surat Thani province which has the overall interpretation value at a high level when considering each aspect Sorted in order from the mean from highest to lowest, it was found that the aspect with the highest mean was Citta (idea), followed by vimansa (contemplation or experimentation), chanda (satisfaction), and value. The lowest mean was viriya (perseverance), respectively. 2) From the study of recommendations for using the principle of Iddhipada 4 in the educational development of monks and novices in at Phrapariyattidhama school department of general education Surat Thani province found that monks and novices in Phrapariyattidhama School Most of them knew the importance of learning the Dharma as a good thing. Therefore, it is important and diligent to study every step. since before the ordination until after the ordination By practicing the mind and practicing strictly in order to adhere to the principles of Dharma and Discipline.
