The Integration of Educational Human Resource Management of The Michigan School with the Buddhist Principles

Abstract

Human Resource Management was important to the development of the economy, society, and politics to deal with to the change of the human resource management way in the present.  The educational human resource management with the Michigan School Concept consisted of Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Reward and Compensation, and Training and Development. Moreover, the educational human resource management based on Buddhist principles will enable the educational personnel to manage and develop themselves and their organizations effectively. The Buddhist method of educational human resource management with the Michigan School Concept consisted of 1) the application of Sappurisa-dhamma (Qualities of a good man) in the recruitment and selection, 2) the application of Brahmavihara (Sublime of mind) in the Performance Management, 3) the application of Sangahavatthu (Acts of doing favours) in the reward and compensation, and 4) the application of Iddhipada (Path of Accomplishment) in the training and development.
