Performances of Teacher Advisory System of Vocational Colleges Under the Vocational Education Commission of Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

This research aimed 1) to study the performances of teacher advisory system of vocational college under the vocational education commission of Pathum Thani Province, and 2) to find the guidelines of the performances of teacher advisory system of vocational college under the vocational education commission of Pathum Thani Province.


            The sample group used to answer questionnaires was 149 advisory teachers of vocational college under the vocational education commission of Pathum Thani Province.


            The research instruments were questionnaire and interview form by the content analysis. The statistics consisted of frequency, mean, percentage, and standard deviation.


            The results indicated that 1) in an overview, the performances of teacher advisory system of vocational college under the vocational education commission of Pathum Thani Province was at a high level. 2) The guidelines of the performances of teacher advisory system of vocational college under the vocational education commission of Pathum Thani Province were composed of 5 dimensions, namely, (1) for knowing individual students; There should be a collection of student data individually with appropriate and varied methods, such as the preparation of advisory teachers, interview form of student, observation form of student behavior, (2) for the student screening; There should arrange a meeting to clarify the guidelines and criteria for considering the students by the details in various fields, (3) in preventing and solving student problems; There should arrange a meeting to determine guidelines for organizing activities for preventing and solving student problems together by the other related parties, (4) in the promotion and development of students; There should be a plan for organizing various activities together, and (5) the delivery of students should provide individual data of students with problems, with the instructions, recommendations, guidelines, in the operations of teachers, consultants and related people.
