Factors affecting the transformational leadership of school administrators under the secondary educational service area office 19

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study factors affecting the transformational leadership of school administrators under jurisdiction of The Office of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19 2)to Study the transformational leadership of school administrators under jurisdiction of The Office of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19 and 3) to study factors affecting the transformational leadership of school administrators under jurisdiction of The Office of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19 at least 1 factors affecting

The samples were 52 school administrators, 278 teachers, 60 total of 338 persons. They were selected by Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument included the Questionnaire in 5 levels as Rating Scale with reliability coefficient 0.92 5 variables were factors affecting the transformational leadership of school administrators: 1) Vision Determinant 2) Effective Communication 3) Change Management 4) Decentralization Rational 5) Participative Administration. And 4 variables the transformational leadership of school administrators: 1) Idealized Influence 2) Inspirational Motivation 3) Intellectoal Stimulation and 4) Individualized Consideration. Data were analyzed by using Computer Program to calculate          the Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis.

The study findings were as follow:The factors affecting the transformational leadership of school administrators under jurisdiction of The Office of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19, were in High level. There was significant correlation between every factors and transformational leadership of school administrators in High level at .01.The transformational leadership of school administrators was in High level in every aspect.And The factors as predictors of transformational leadership of school administrators under jurisdiction of The Office of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19 were: Transformational Administration Factor (X₃), Participative Administration Factor (X₅), Effective Communication Factor (X₂), Vision Determinant Factor (X ), and Decentralization Rational Factor (X₄) with correlation coefficient 0.81, predictive value 66.10 at .01 significant level. The predictive equation could be written as follows:

            Y = 0.719 + 0.162(X₃) + 0.244 (X₅) + 0.164 (X₂) + 0.116 (X₁) + 0.127 (X₄)

And with this equation of standard score

            Z = 0.175 (Z₃) + 0.291 (Z₅) + 0.181 (Z₂) + 0.119 (Z₁) + 0.140 (Z₄)
