The Relationship Between the Characteristics of School Administrators and the Implementation Between School and Community Under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational service Area Office 3

Abstract

The article aimed to study 1) the characteristics of school administrators 2) the implementation between school and community and 3) the relationship between the characteristics of school administrators and the implementation between school and community under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The samples of this research consisted of 299 administrators and teachers under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, obtained by proportionate stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a five-level-rating scale questionnaire with content validity between 0.67–1.00 and a reliability of 0.97. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s Product moment correlation coefficient with a statistical significance level at 0.05. The findings were as follows: 1) The characteristics of school administrators under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, overall and in each individual aspect were at a high level, ranking in descending order as ideal leader, vision, creativity and innovation, interpersonal skills, and work-related relationships. 2) The implementation between school and community under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, overall and in each individual aspect were at a high level, ranking in descending order as community participation, public relations, community involvement, and community service. 3) the characteristics of school administrators and the implementation between school and community under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, in overall had a medium positive correlation with statistical significance.
