An Application of Brahmavihara Dhamma to Enhance Leadership among Administrators of Rai Rot Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Don Chedi District, Suphan Buri Province

Abstract
This research article aims to: 1) examine the level of leadership based on Brahmavihara principles among the administrators of Rai Rot Subdistrict Administrative Organization, 2) investigate the relationship between Brahmavihara principles and leadership of the administrators, and 3) study guidelines for promoting leadership in accordance with Brahmavihara principles. The research employed a mixed methods approach. Data were collected from 380 respondents through stratified random sampling and 13 key informants via interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using t-tests and F-tests, including Pearson correlation coefficients. The findings revealed that: 1) the overall level of leadership based on Brahmavihara principles was moderate, with the highest mean in the aspect of equanimity and the lowest in loving-kindness; 2) Brahmavihara principles had a positive but very low correlation with leadership, with the strongest correlation found in the inspirational motivation aspect, and 3) the guidelines for promoting leadership included: idealized influence through ethical behavior and emotional control; inspirational motivation through praise and career support; intellectual stimulation through creative thinking and innovative practices; and individualized consideration through active listening, recognition of individual potential, and acceptance of differences.
