Student Safety Administration of Schools in High Land Areas Under the Jurisdiction of the Chiang Mai Primary Education Service Area Office 6

Abstract

This article aimed to study the student safety administration of schools in highland areas under the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 6. The population was 58 administrators and teachers of schools in highland areas under the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 6. The tools used in the study were the questionnaire and analyzed the data using statistics on frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the schools in highland areas under the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 6, in overall, were at a high level.  When considering each aspect in descending order, were social problem prevention and resolution, student health and sanitary problems, accident prevention and resolution, poisonous animals prevention and resolution, combat impacts and unrest, prevention and remediation of accidents. Guidelines for the management of school safety in highland areas, were that school safety management should be clearly defined policies, measures, continuity, internal and external safety regulations, with participation between the school, teachers, parents, and the community. There should be reliable monitoring, personnel planning, budgeting, and purchasing equipment related to appropriate safety accordance to the educational level of school, including supervision, monitoring, continuous assessment of activities, and the results of the assessment are used in the further operation for maximum efficiency.
