An Application of Sanghawatthu Dhamma Principles in Public Welfare Works of Khlong Mai Temple, Yannawa District, Bangkok

Abstract

This article aims to study the application of the principles of Sangkhawatthu Dhamma in public welfare work of Wat Klong Mai, Yan Nawa District, Bangkok. This research is qualitative research by analyzing documents and in-depth interviews with key informants. The research results are summarized in a descriptive manner. The research results show that the application of the principles of Sangkhawatthu Dhamma in public welfare work of Wat Klong Mai, Yan Nawa District, Bangkok by the monks of Wat Klong Mai has carried out public welfare work towards the temple, community development, schools, and society by applying the principles of Sangkhawatthu Dhamma to help and support people, communities, and society by providing assistance to others and those in need or those in distress. The aim is to lead to mental development, quality of life development, development of temples, communities, society, and schools, which will bring happiness to people, society, and the country to progress.
