Developing Online Lessons Using Case Studies as a Basis to Promote the Teaching Ability of Monks Teaching Morality in Schools Suphanburi Province

Abstract

This article aims 1. to study the current state of online lessons using case study as a base, 2. to analyze the problems and obstacles in online lessons using case study as a base, 3. to develop online lessons using case study as a base, and 4. to evaluate the efficiency of online lessons using case study as a base. It is a mixed-method research and development (R&D) method. The research results found that: 1. The current status of online learning management for Buddhism subjects found that overall, the average value was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the problems and obstacles in online learning management/computer usage were at a high level, followed by a moderate level in all aspects.

1. Analysis of the problems and obstacles in online teaching for Buddhist subjects by monks teaching morality in schools in Suphan Buri Province found that

1) The current status of online learning management is planning the teaching model, such as creating media to integrate online teaching so that students do not feel bored. Online learning is a highly flexible form of learning. Therefore, students must be more responsible in their studies than usual.

2) The problems and obstacles in online learning management are: Online learning in every home is suitable for online learning, learning amidst noise, not all students have their own communication devices, some families with many children may have to share them.

3) The development of online learning management models is to give students the opportunity to study and research further, to stimulate students consistently by teaching according to the guidelines for using digital technology, and to use the lessons to practice correctly.

Creating and developing an online lesson learning management system for Buddhist subjects for monks teaching morality in schools in Suphan Buri Province found that the level of opinions, satisfaction, and satisfaction with online lessons using case studies as a base was at a high level overall. When considering each aspect, the supportive factors were at a moderate level.
