The The Development of English Learning System for Skills in the Digital Age

Abstract

This article aimed 1) to study the problem of English learning ecosystem of elementary school students of Ban Sop Kham School, 2) to explore factors related to the English learning ecosystem of elementary school students of Ban Sop Kham School and 3) To propose guidelines for developing an English learning ecosystem for elementary school students of Ban Sop Kham School in the digital age. This research was qualitative research. There were 20 students in grades 1-6 who were interested in improving their English. The instruments used in the research consisted of an observation form, a questionnaire, and a questionnaire. The research found that the development of social media learning ecosystem is one channel that promotes good relationship between teachers and learners. Because nowadays social media has been widely applied for all levels of education as it facilitates the exchange of information between teachers and students for learning at all times. There is no limitation of time and place to promote teaching and learning in the digital age as there are patterns and goals that aims to enable learners to learn and practice English skills on their ways. As a result, learners have a more diverse and effective learning in order to improve the efficiency of students' English education. In addition, instructors should consider the development of the English language learning ecosystem for the skills of the digital age that play a big role today.
