Development Strategies for Online Learning of The Royal Thai Army Branch Schools

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to study the online learning development strategies and to develop the online learning in the army branch schools. The relevant information such as the official regulation and policies was collected through hard copies and electronic copies especially by the internet as well as the questionnaires and personnel interviews were conducted in the duration of information collection phases. The research was divided into 6 phases which are: 1) Study the relevant information 2) Collect and analyst all the relevant information 3) Draft the management strategies 4) Evaluate the drafted management strategies 5) Reviews by the selected experts and 6) Publications. The information analysis was performed by descriptive statistics and open-ended questionnaires were analyzed and interpreted with the SWOT and TOW Matrix into the online learning development strategies. After that the strategies were evaluated and recommended the better improvement strategies by the selected experts.

The research found that there are online learning development strategies as in the following: 1) To create ecosystem of the online learning in the army branch schools 2) To enhance the digital culture and new communication to the new army personnel in the army branch schools 3) To implement Knowledge Management and Learning Organization in the army branch schools 4) To enhance the Executive Coaching of the digital skill and new communication technology in the army branch schools and 5) To provide newer high-tech devices for the army personnel in the army branch schools.
