The Variables That Affect the Working Effectiveness of the Personnel of the Secretariat of the Senate

Abstract
The objectives of the study on the variables that affect the working effectiveness of the personnel of the Secretariat of the Senate are 1) to study the factors of motivation and hygiene of the personnel of the Secretariat of the Senate; 2) to study the working effectiveness of the personnel of the Secretariat of the Senate; and 3) to study the factors of motivation and hygiene relating to the working effectiveness and affecting the performance of personnel of the Secretariat of the Senate. The sample of the study is the amount of 300 personnel of the Secretariat of the Senate. The research tool is a questionnaire. The data analyzing statistics are the frequency, the percentage, the average, the standard deviation, the correlation analysis, and the multiple linear regression analysis.
Research found that the sample of the personnel of the Secretariat of the Senate majority is female, age between 30-40 years, unmarried marital status, bachelor's degree, the period of 5-15 working experience, and the total income per month is 20,001 - 30,000 baht. The factor of motivation and health positively affecting the effectiveness of working in the same direction of all 9 aspects including work achievement; recognition; progression in career; job description; work responsibility; administrative policy and management; control and supervision; relations between supervisor and colleagues; and compensation and welfare. Especially in the aspects of work achievement; recognition; and work responsibility which affect the working effectiveness of the personnel of the Secretariat of the Senate with statistical significance at 0.01.
