Development Mechanism and Raise the Level of Excellence in Vocational Education in The Buddhist Way of Life for Learning a New Normal

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to 1) review and establish mechanisms for developing and enhancing the management of Buddhist vocational education, 2) reform the management of Buddhist vocational education to be excellent, 3) create a public forum to enhance the management of Buddhist vocational education that is excellent for learning in the new normal of life. The combined educational model consists of documented, quantitative, qualitative, and participatory operational research. The population and sample include administrators, instructors, and students selected by the experts. There are ten royal Buddhist vocational institutes. Research tools are interview forms, small group discussions, and activity sets. The data were analyzed by using the descriptive content analysis method.

The findings showed that 1. reviewing and establishing development mechanisms, it is concluded that the royal Buddhist vocational institutes are clear in their vision, missions, strategic goals, supporting learning management, policy consistency from participations, plans and quality, and developing the goals. 2. Reforming the management of Buddhist vocational education to be excellent, it is concluded that the introduction of teaching principles to reform education management will produce the following results: 1) There is a management system and network for sustainable development, 2) Mechanisms for individualized student care, and 3) Society is driven in a positive direction, and the youth have morals, resulting in a peaceful society. 3. Creating a public hearing forum has been done as follows: 1) The preparation of strategies, policies, plans, and goals together, 2) The implementation of strategic plans, 3) Monitoring and evaluation 4) The creation of mechanisms for developing and enhancing educational management.
