Effecting Factors toward Attitudes and Behaviors regarding Gambling Activities of Undergraduate Students: A case study of Burapha University, Bangsean

Abstract
The research is about the current situation. The issue about gambling activity is widespread in society, as well as among students of higher education institutions, that influencing negatively the future national power. The researchers conducted a study to determine the factors under the underlying environment, as well as variables or factors that influencing the attitudes and behavior of students gambling. The study could give information to the government for editing policies. The study sample is collected from undergraduate students of Burapha University. According to figures from the Division of register and education evaluation Burapha University, the total students are 36,481, and the sample of this research is 400 individuals. In this study, researchers apply quantitative research methods in the study guide.
The findings conclude that there are 62 percent of students has experienced gambling. It is interesting to know that 6.5 percent of students has often played gambling, and mostly the students who gambling, their friends also play. Among the favorite locus of gambling are dormitory (35.1%) and house (26.3%) Thus, the researchers promote of policy making recommendations for the long-term solution. To cultivate young people to recognize the harm of gambling, it is started from the family, Education institution, and Government. This writing provides idea to the academic and research that should study by based on both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The upcoming study could focus on people who have responsible of the government.
