Operational of the Student Care and Assistance System for Extra Large Educational Institution under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Office

Abstract
This article aimed to study (1) the operations of the Student Care and Assistance System for Extra-Large Educational Institutions. (2) Compare the operations of the Student Care and Assistance System for Extra-Large Educational Institutions, classified by education level and work experience. (3) Guideline for Developing the Student Care and Assistance System for Extra-Large Schools. Data were collected using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire, achieving a reliability score of 0.983. Qualitative data were gathered through structured interviews. Statistical analysis included means, percentages, and standard deviations. The research results found that 1) the operation of the Student Care and Assistance System for Extra-Large Educational Institutions under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Office is overall at a high level. Considering each aspect, the area with the highest average score was knowing students individually, followed by prevention and problem-solving. The area with the lowest average score was student screening. 2) The results of comparing the performance of the Student Care and Assistance System across different educational levels and work experience revealed significant differences, both overall and in each specific aspect, at the .05 significance level. 3) The results of the analysis of the target groups revealed guidelines for developing the Student Care and Assistance System. Educational institutions should establish clear data collection guidelines, set straightforward and practical student screening criteria, organize activities that promote students' holistic development, foster collaboration with all stakeholders to prevent and resolve issues, and implement a referral system for students in need of support in cooperation with relevant agencies.
