Quality of Working life of Employees at Navamin 9 Hospital, Bangkok

Abstract
The aims of this study were: 1) to study the quality of working life of employees at Nawamin 9 Hospital 2) to study the factors affecting the quality of working life of employees at Nawamin 9 Hospital and 3) to study the guidelines for developing the quality of working life of employees at Navamin 9 Hospital. This is a quantitative and qualitative method that uses a questionnaire as a tool to collect data from a sample group of 247 people. Qualitative research by interviewing key informants, who are personnel of Navamin 9 Hospital, totaling 12 people. The qualitative data obtained from the data collection were analyzed inductively and logically, and the results of the data analysis were described.
The research results found that 1) the overall quality of working life of employees at Nawamin 9 Hospital, Bangkok, was at the highest level ( = 4.58, S.D. = 0.44). 2) The factors affecting the overall quality of working life of employees at Nawamin 9 Hospital were at the highest level (
= 4.63, S.D. = 0.42). 3) The guidelines for developing employees' working life quality at Nawamin 9 Hospital were as follows: 1) There should be appropriate recognition, promotion, and compensation to motivate employees to work. 2) Employees should be encouraged to seek new knowledge by attending training and observation to apply the knowledge to work effectively. 3) A working atmosphere should be created by arranging a convenient and tidy place, along with providing sufficient equipment to meet the needs of employees. 4) Employees should be encouraged to socialize and do activities to create unity in the organization, leading to more efficient work. 5) There should be an appropriate division of responsibilities and work assignments so employees can work to their full potential without affecting their personal and family lives.
