The Innovative Development of Musical Digital Media for Promoting Practical Skill of Ukulele for Grade 5 Students in Primary School at Srinakharinwirot University; Prasarnmit Demonstration (Elementary)

Abstract
This article used a research and development framework to 1) develop a digital music media innovation to enhance ukulele performance skills and 2) study the effectiveness of using digital music media innovation to enhance ukulele performance skills. The research tools used for data collection included digital music media innovation, lesson plans, a learning achievement test, and a ukulele performance skill assessment. The sample group for this research consisted of fifth-grade students from Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Elementary), and the sample was selected by using cluster sampling, with one class chosen from eight classes, consisting of 30 students in total. Data analysis was conducted through descriptive statistics, including mean, standard deviation, and comparison of means for the experimental group. The research results showed that 1) developing the digital music media innovation to enhance ukulele performance skills showed that the digital music media innovation was a learning tool that presented video demonstrations of ukulele performance skills with animated visuals and rhythm notes. This resulted in design and development resisted with a rating of excellent (x̄ = 4.26, S.D. = 0.82). Thus, the content presentation quality was also rated as outstanding (x̄ = 4.39, S.D. = 0.78), and the overall effectiveness was 90.22 / 96.28, which was higher than the set standard of 80/80.
2) The results of implementing the digital music media innovation to enhance ukulele performance skills showed that the learning achievement of fifth-grade students who learned through the digital music media innovation to enhance ukulele performance skills was significantly higher after learning than before, with a statistical significance at the level of .01. Moreover, the students' ukulele performance skills were rated as excellent (x̄ = 14.25, S.D. = 0.82).
