The Development of BCG Economic Learning Model Based on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy into Practice for Youths in the Mekong Sub-region

Abstract
The objectives of this research are 1) to analyze and synthesize the learning model. 2) to develop the BCG economic learning model. 3) to study the results of using the BCG economic learning model, and 4) to compare the knowledge gained from learning about the BCG economy based on the philosophy of sufficiency economy to practice for youth in the Mekong Subregion. This research employs a mixed-method approach. The data collection tools include questionnaires, focus group discussion records, pre-tests and post-tests, and attitude surveys. The statistics used for data analysis include frequency and percentage, as well as mean and standard deviation. The research results found that current teaching methods primarily focus on lecture-based/problem-based learning. Challenges in implementing effective learning include limited class time, course content, and student learning behavior. The BCG Economy Model has been commonly integrated into learning activities and consistently used in teaching practices. The assessment of the suitability of the BCG Economy learning model based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for practical application among youth in the Greater Mekong Subregion was rated at the highest level overall (mean = 4.91). The model's validation results showed the highest level of appropriateness, with an average score of 4.80. A comparison of pre-learning and post-learning outcomes revealed that Chiang Rai Rajabhat University achieved the highest average scores. Post-test scores were consistently higher than pre-test scores across all institutions analyzed.
