Credit Union Cooperative Policy in Thailand upon Democratic Principles of Cooperative

Abstract
This article aimed to 1) study the policy for the development of credit union cooperatives in Thailand according to the principles of cooperative democracy, 2) study factors affecting the policy for developing the effectiveness of credit union cooperatives in Thailand, and 3) study and to recommend a policy for the development of credit union cooperatives in Thailand according to the principles of cooperative democracy. It is a mixed method research (Mix Method). The population and sample group in this research are personnel of 11 outstanding credit union cooperatives with a sample group of 400 people. The research tools are questionnaires and Interview form the statistics used in the research were percentage, mean, standard deviation and structural equation analysis
The results showed that Policy for the development of credit union cooperatives in Thailand according to democratic principles there is an important component. Operational success and 5 virtues of credit union cooperatives the factors affecting the policy to develop the effectiveness of credit union cooperatives in Thailand are cooperative promotion policies. Principles of cooperative democracy in Thailand and leadership in the cooperative system in addition, the policy recommendations for the development of credit union cooperatives are as follows: 1. The government should provide support to the cooperative's operations and should not issue laws, rules or regulations that hinder the cooperative's operation. 3. Credit union cooperative executives must have leadership in accordance with good management principles and 4. Credit union development policies in Thailand must adhere to democratic principles.
