The Development of Academic Network Management Model in Small Sized Primary Schools of Primary Education Service Area Office, Office of The Basic Education

Abstract

This article aimed as follows: 1) to study problematic conditions and their components; 2) to develop and test the model of academic network management in small-sized primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission; and 3) to estimate a model of academic network management in small-sized primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. This study employed mixed-method research. The qualitative research was an interview with seven experts selected by the purposive sampling method. In terms of the quantitative research, the sample group for the quantitative approach consisted of 334 directors and teachers in small-sized primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission using a multi-stage random sampling method. The statistics used for analyzing the data were content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and confirmatory factor analysis.


The results showed that the model of academic cooperation network management can be used to formulate guidelines for the preparation of a manual for the administration of academic cooperation networks for small primary schools of the Office of Primary Education Service Areas under the Office of the Education Commission, which consists of 3 parts: 1) There are five problems in small schools; 2) The model of academic network management in small-sized primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission consisted of nine components; 3) To estimate the model of academic network management in small-sized primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. In general, suitability was at the highest level.
