The Strategy to Promote the Village Fund Through Community Institute Setting of Saving Bank in Kamphang Phet Province

Abstract
This article aimed to 1) study the condition and problems of the village fund, Kamphaeng Phet Province; 2) study the condition, problems, and factors involved in promoting the village fund towards the establishment of a community financial institution; 3) develop a strategy to promote the village fund to establish a community financial institution; and 4) test and assess the promotion of the village fund to the establishment of a community financial institution by the Government Savings Bank, Kamphaeng Phet Province. The sample consisted of the chairman, the committee, and the members, totaling 33 people. Trial and evaluation of strategies by using a specific selection method. The experiment was done at Khlong Nam Yen Tai Village Fund, Khong Phai Sub-district, Khanu Woralaksaburi District, Kamphaeng Phet Province.
The research results were found as follows: 1. Condition and problems of Kamphaeng Phet Province Village Fund Overall, the problems were at a moderate level; 2. The condition, problems, and factors involved in promoting the village fund towards the establishment of a community financial institution, it was found that the village fund promotion had problems in the analysis and synthesis of community financial institutions. The factors related to the promotion of the village fund are classified as internal factors, namely, village fund members’ cooperation in complying with the regulations. As for external factors, people in the village community provided assistance to the village fund in various ways; 3. The results of the development of strategies for promoting the village fund towards the establishment of a community financial institution of the Government Savings Bank, Kamphaeng Phet Province. Importantly, it consists of a vision, two missions, two strategic issues, two goals, seven strategies, 15 indicators, and 35 measures. The possibility of acceptability at a high level in all aspects.
