The Creation of the Sangha Network for Drugs Prevention and Solution in the Central Region

Abstract
This article aimed to (1) study participation in the prevention and solution of drug problems; 2) analyze the creation network for drug prevention and solution; and 3) develop creative campaign activities for the prevention and solution of drug problems of the Sangha in the central region. It was a mix-methods research by quantitative research that data were collected from 400 monks and inhabitants in the central region area and as for the qualitative research, data were collected from 12 key informants in addition, the action research was studied with volunteers, monks, novices, students and the public. The research results were found as follows:
1. The participation in the prevention and solution of drug problems of temples, Sangha, and communities, was at a high level, as well as the level and model for preventing and solving drug problems of temples, Sangha, and communities. There was a positive correlation with statistical significance at 0.01.
2. The creation of the Sangha network for drug prevention and solution in the central region took the form of an official network called the Drug Prevention and Solution Network of 7 associations of Sangha in the Central Region. It was a cooperation drive in the prevention and solution of drug problems at the provincial level according to the model of the "5-tiered city wall" and at the level of temples and communities according to the model of the "5-tiered temple wall."
3. The development of creative campaign activities for the prevention and solution of drug problems of Sangha in the central region was comprised of drug-resistance social work activities, training activities to provide knowledge on drugs to monks and people, and training techniques activities for developing creative media to prevent and solve drug problems in Thai society.
