Abstract

This academic paper entitled ‘the study of rice cooperation project of the most Venerable PhraKru Piphithaprajanadh (Nan Suddhasilo)’ has objectives to propose the concept and inspiration for establishing the rice cooperation project of the most venerable PhraKru Piphithaprajanadh (Nan Suddhasilo). The consequences of the study were found as follows;    


             The most venerable ‘PhraKru Piphithaprajanadh’ has inner-inspiration to work for community development; he thinks all of monks can live together because achieved by offering foods from people and monks have to reward them by some help giving. Otherwise, he has experience of practice meditation; it makes his mind away accompanied by loving kindness to all beings and his constancy of ideals to work for public. So, he has invited people to practice meditation in term of courses ‘planning death before die’. It is based on the concept of previous human development than material development and depended on the threefold training, morality concentration and wisdom. More details were shown concept of human development in both physical peace and mental peace; and then going on to material development as well as road construction, establishing the union rice and also establishing the cooperative store for equity trading of customers. Furthermore, there have an applying of Buddhist principles to approach the people senses; it is called using the Dhamma to resolve problems until the people will defenseless themselves. In other hand, the temple hall is used for to be a central place of religious activities of public. He has characteristics which are venerable and respectable for a good leader, it is due to get venerating and respecting from the public particularly.
