Effect of Pre-Harvest Foliar Application of Nutrients and plant Growth Regulators on yield of Sapota Under Hill zone of Kranataka

Abstract
An experiment on effect of pre-harvest foliar application nutrients and plant growth regulators on yield of sapota under hill zone of Karnataka was carried out during the year 2017-18 at sapota orchard, college of horticulture, Mudigere. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with fifteen treatments and replicated thrice. The results revealed that treatment T6 2,4-D at 10ppm significantly increase yield attributing characters like fruit length (10.53 cm), fruit weight (141.63 g), fruit volume (145.59 cc), fruit diameter (60.83mm), fruit circumference (21.72cm) and fruit yield per tree (109.29 kg).
