Abstract
บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษาภาวลักษณ์พระโพธิสัตว์จากเรื่องมหาชาติสำนวนอีสาน (ลำผะเหวด) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า พระโพธิสัตว์ในมหาชาติสำนวนอีสาน (ลำผะเหวด) ทรงแสดงภาวลักษณ์พระโพธิสัตว์ที่จำแนกเป็น 2 ภาวะ คือ ภาวลักษณ์ของพระโพธิสัตว์ซึ่งกระทำโดยปกติภาวะ เป็นการสร้างสมบารมีโดยปกตินิสัยของพระองค์ และภาวลักษณ์ของพระโพธิสัตว์ซึ่งกระทำต่อผู้อื่น เป็นการสร้างสมบารมีโดยมีผู้อื่นเข้ามาเกี่ยวข้อง ทั้งนี้เพื่อมุ่งต่อพระโพธิญาณ คือการได้รู้แจ้งเห็นจริงและทำความแห่งทุกข์ให้หมดสิ้นไป
This article is aimed to study the characteristics of being a Bodhisattva as narratd in Lum Pha-whed (Vessantara Jataka of Isarn dialect). The study found that Bodhisattva has sought to reach the Supreme Knowledge (Bodhiñãnฺa) which is the ultimate truth and the act of bringing all sufferings to an end. Such perserverance reflects the following 2 characteristics: 1) the self-improvement towards Perfections 2) the relative actions towards fellow-men
