การประกวดวงมโหรี “ประลองเพลง ประเลงมโหรี” ตามพระราชดำริ สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี Thai grand orchestra competition "Thai music performing competition" , the competition was initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

Abstract

งานวิจัยเรื่องการประกวดวงมโหรี “ประลองเพลง ประเลงมโหรี” ตามพระราชดำริสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาประวัติความเป็นมา หลักการคัดเลือกเพลงที่ใช้ประกวดและศึกษากระบวนการประกวดวงมโหรี ใช้ระเบียบวิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative) โดยศึกษาข้อมูลช่วงปี ๒๕๔๙-๒๕๕๓ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 

           ๑. สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ทรงรับเป็นองค์อุปถัมภ์ การประกวด

ประกวดวงมโหรี “ประลองเพลง ประเลงมโหรี” โดยนายเนาวรัตน์ พงษ์ไพบูลย์ เป็นผู้จุดประกายเรื่องการประกวดวงมโหรีขึ้น มีศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ นายแพทย์พูนพิศ อมาตยกุล นายพยงค์ คชาลัย เป็นผู้ประสานงานหลักเรื่องการประกวดวงมโหรี กับดร. สายสุรี จุติกุล เลขาธิการสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมและประสานงานเยาวชนแห่งชาติ (ส.ย.ช.) เป็นหน่วยงานรัฐรับเป็นเจ้าภาพร่วมดำเนินการประกวดกับศูนย์สังคีตศิลป์ ธนาคารกรุงเทพ จำกัด ฯพณฯ นายกรัฐมนตรีลงนามแต่งตั้งคณะอนุกรรมการดำเนินการประกวดวงมโหรี “ประลองเพลง ประเลงมโหรี” ภายใต้โครงการกิจกรรมส่งเสริมดนตรีไทย

           ๒. เพลงที่ใช้ประกวดวงมโหรี “ประลองเพลง ประเลงมโหรี” พิจารณาจากหลักและวิธีการบรรเลงมาแต่โบราณ เพื่อสอดคล้องกับระดับการศึกษาผู้ประกวด เกณฑ์มาตรฐานดนตรีไทยและโอกาสวันสำคัญของชาติ

           ๓. กระบวนการประกวดวงมโหรี “ประลองเพลง ประเลงมโหรี” ปรากฏตามขั้นตอนอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม มีเกณฑ์การตัดสินชัดเจน คือความกลมกลืนในการบรรเลง แบบแผนและวินัยการบรรเลง กลวิธีบรรเลงรวมวง

           การประกวดวงมโหรีนี้ ครู ผู้ปรับวงส่วนใหญ่ยอมรับกฎกติกา ปัญหาที่พบคือขาดแรงสนับสนุนจากผู้บริหารโรงเรียน ขาดผู้ปรับวง หานักเรียนขับร้องและสีซอสามสายยาก ครูต้องศึกษาทำนองหลักเพิ่มเติมเพื่อให้เกิดความรู้และเข้าใจ คณะกรรมการตัดสิน มีความมุ่งมั่น อดทน อดกลั้น เสียสละ ทั้งนี้ประธานอนุกรรมการมุ่งหวังให้ทุกคนปฏิบัติหน้าที่ เพื่อสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เพื่อให้มโหรีดำรงอยู่อย่างยั่งยืน

            The research on the Thai grand orchestra competition "Thai music performing competition" , the competition was initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn had objectives to study the background, rules on selection of song used for the contest and to study Thai grand orchestra contest processes by using qualitative research to study from documents, textbooks, video and audio records, field data from indepth interview including observation of the Thai grand orchestra competition "Thai music performing competition" , the competition compiled by mean of data analysis.

              Result of the research showed that Nawarat Pongpaibool had initiated the idea aobut juvenile music contest by Honorary Prof. Dr. Poonpis Amatayakul in jointly with Dr. Saisuree Jutikul, former secretary-general of Office of the National Youth Bureau had arranged the contest under the project of activity to promote Thai music to respond the royal intention of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn who had graciously acted as “sponsor”.  The activity was operated by the Music Center in jointly with Office of the Promotion and Protection of Children, Youth, the Elderly and Vulnerable Groups to appoint subcommittee by the prime minister, For the contest, there was tangible contest process, the music used in the contest was considered and selected from rules and method of ancient play in corresponding with educational level of the competitors, had rules of standard Thai music and national important occasion, clear consideration and rules by determining rules on the harmonious play, pattern and disciplines of play, tactic in playing as a band, most instructors accepted the rules but there were problem about the lack of support from school administrator, difficulty to find  singing student and three-stringed fiddle player.  It was thus required to study additional core melody to gain better knowledge and understand.  The committee had strong intention, patient, tolerant and sacrifice. In this regard, the president of subcommittee therefore hoped everybody to perform their duties for H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in order to continuously conserve Thai grand orchestra to remain with our country forever and ever.
