การคงอยู่ทางวัฒนธรรมและอัตลักษณ์ชุดมลายูในมาเลเซีย: การศึกษาเชิงวิเคราะห์ในบริบทสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพแวดล้อมทางสังคมเกี่ยวกับชุดมลายูในมาเลเซีย โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา จากเอกสาร บทความวิชาการ รายงานการวิจัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ชุดมลายูในมาเลเซียมีวิวัฒนาการและการเปลี่ยนแปลงตามบริบททางสังคมและวัฒนธรรม โดยได้รับอิทธิพลจากปัจจัยต่าง ๆ เช่น การล่าอาณานิคมของอังกฤษ การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม และกระแสโลกาภิวัตน์ อย่างไรก็ตาม ปัจจัยนี้ยังคงไว้ซึ่งเอกลักษณ์วัฒนธรรมความเป็นมลายู โดยเฉพาะในด้านการปกปิดส่วนที่สงวนไว้ของร่างกายตามหลักศาสนาอิสลาม ในทำนองเดียวกันภาคสื่อมวลชนและอุตสาหกรรมบันเทิงมีอิทธิพลอย่างมากต่อการแต่งตัวของคนมลายูในปัจจุบัน กล่าวได้ว่าชุดมลายูในมาเลเซียสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างค่านิยมทางวัฒนธรรมกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม โดยมีการผสมผสานระหว่างความเป็นสมัยใหม่กับการรักษาอัตลักษณ์ดั้งเดิม จากการวิจัยนี้สามารถให้ข้อเสนอแนะในประเด็นการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนกิจกรรมเพื่อสืบสานวัฒนธรรมการแต่งกายชุดมลายูอย่างต่อเนื่อง การส่งเสริมและสร้างเครือข่ายภาคอุตสาหกรรมด้านชุดแต่งกายมลายูระหว่างภาครัฐและเอกชน รวมถึงการพัฒนาหลักสูตรสร้างความเข้าใจวัฒนธรรมการแต่งชุดมลายู และแนวโน้มแฟชั่นมลายูเพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของคนในยุคปัจจุบัน
