บทคัดย่อ
บทความฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษาสุนทรียภาพด้านการใช้ชีวิตในวรรณกรรมแปลของจอร์จ ออร์เวลล์ จำนวน 6 เรื่อง ประกอบด้วยบันเทิงคดี 3 เรื่องและสารคดี 3 เรื่อง ผลการศึกษาทำให้ทราบถึงมุมมองของออร์เวลล์เกี่ยวกับสุนทรียภาพด้านการใช้ชีวิตใน 3 ประเด็น ได้แก่ ความซาบซึ้งในความงามทางธรรมชาติ ความซาบซึ้งในความงามของมนุษย์ ซึ่งแบ่งเป็นความงามทางกายภาพและความงามด้านจิตใจ และความซาบซึ้งในความงามทางศิลปะ ประกอบด้วย ศิลปะการร่ายรำของพม่า ศิลปะการรัดเท้าของสตรีจีน ศิลปะการออกแบบสิ่งก่อสร้างในประเทศสเปน และศิลปะในการดื่มน้ำชา
