Guidelines for the Development of Suan Dusit Thai Fragrance Products for Sustainability

Abstract
This research aimed to investigate the factors influencing the sustainable development of Suan Dusit Thai fragrance products and to explore strategies for enhancing their sustainability. The sample for quantitative research consisted of 50 individuals engaged in Suan Dusit Thai fragrance products, while qualitative research engaged 5 experts with extensive experience in Thai incense-making at Suan Dusit. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and interviews. The statistics used in this study included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The results revealed that the respondents rated factors affecting the sustainability of Thai Suan Dusit fragrance products at a high level, with particular emphasis on systems and mechanisms of motivation at work, followed by vision and organizational structure, respectively. Furthermore, respondents underscored the significance of strategies for developing Suan Dusit Thai incense products in terms of sustainability at a high level. Product development was ranked the highest in importance, followed by personnel and pricing, respectively.
