Students’ Handicraft Competition: Criteria Analysis of Vegetable and Fruit Craving
Main Article Content
Abstract
The student handicraft competition is an integrated fruit and vegetable competition of the career and art department. The activities in the competition enable students to develop their potential, learn how to prepare materials and fruit carving patterns, practice carving sanitarily, and decorate vegetable and fruit carving presentations. Aside from those, they also learn from their competitors. Rubric scores are based on multiple criteria, such as the consistency of products and names, work processes, performing hygienically and preserving the nutrition of the carved vegetables and fruits, meticulousness, beauty, and creativity. Moreover, the competition require skills, patience, understanding disappointment, and learning from mistakes to improve themselves and become skilled fruit and vegetable carvers in Thailand.
