AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON CHINESE CLASSROOM PROBLEM BEHAVIOR OF OVERSEAS STUDENTS IN CHANGCHUN

Abstract

This paper investigates the "problem behaviors" in Chinese class of 497 overseas students in Changchun, China, and discusses the problem behaviors existing in Chinese class of overseas students in Changchun. The research shows that there are various types of Chinese classroom problem behaviors of overseas students in Changchun, and the Chinese teachers' efforts to develop students' emotions are insufficient. Students' classroom problem behaviors are positively correlated with their achievements. The results show that Chinese teachers in Changchun should take the task orientation of classroom activities, the innovation of teachers' teaching and the individualized teaching as the starting point, which will better solve classroom problem behaviors. At the same time, Chinese teachers should treat different types of "problem behaviors" differently in classroom teaching.
