The word order research of multiple attributives in modern Chinese is significant to the research of Chinese ontology and the teaching and learning of Chinese as a foreign language. We reviewed the current research on multiple attributives in modern Chinese from the perspectives of the Components of multiple attributives in modern Chinese, the comparison of the word order of multiple attributives in different languages, the errors in the acquisition of the word order of multiple attributives in modern Chinese, and the word order of multiple attributives. At present, the research on multiple attributives in modern Chinese is fruitful. Scholars have made a detailed description of the syntactic structure of the word order of multiple attributives in modern Chinese. There are fewer studies on the construction law of multiple attributives comparably. At the same time, the current research focuses on the stability of the word order of multiple attributives and lacks discussions on the flexibility of multiple attributives.
