STUDY OF USING THE CHINESE LANGUAGE IN THE ENVIRONMENT OF PATTAYA WALKING STREET, THAILAND

Abstract

The tourism business in Thailand contributes to the development and growth of important economic factors. Including trade promotion is resulting in foreign tourists Especially in Asia, popular to travel to Thailand. There are millions of people each year. Thailand has many important Walking Street, "Walking Street" of each tourist area. Tend to be different areas, Including in Pattaya which is one of the main tourist attractions and is also well-known to foreign tourists. The tourists are mostly Chinese. For this reason, the Chinese language for tourism and services are necessary for Pattaya Walking Street

The objective of this research is to study Chinese language services and tourists' satisfaction levels. Which has the importance of Chinese language services of employees, evaluate and find solutions to problems occurring in providing Chinese language services.

 The study results showed distributing questionnaires referenced from tourists and staff at stores. they used Chinese language to communicate with tourists. And also use in advertising signs. therefore, found that Employees are still having problems using the Chinese language to communicate with customers. They can't speak Chinese at all. Sometimes the grammar is not correct. Therefore, Pattaya Walking Street should improve the Chinese language for tourism and services and Basic training in Chinese for employees to become more knowledgeable. For communication with tourists to understand better.
