Abstract

“Flipped classroom” is a major breakthrough teaching concept in the 21st century information age, and also is an important innovation in the contemporary classroom teaching model. It has two basic characteristics: First, internet information technology and computers are widely used in education; Second, students truly become to be the master of learning. There is a common practice in Thailand’s Chinese class, that the teachers’ teaching weighs heavier than students’ exercising, and the students have no opportunity to express themselves in Chinese, which go against the generally accepted teaching principles "Student-centered, with meticulous teaching and lots of practice ", and also leads to the slow development on Chinese listening and speaking ability in Thailand middle schools. Therefore, it is an inevitable question for the teachers to promote the students’ interest on learning Chinese in a limited classroom teaching time, while also try to achieve the teaching goal “makes the students speak more and practice more”. In order to improve this situation, the author tried to apply the new teaching model “Flipped Classroom” to Thailand Chinese classroom, and designed the new Chinese teaching model for Thailand middle school students under the “Flipped Classroom” teaching model, and then designed the specific implementation process in Bangkok Wattana Wittaya Academy according to the actual teaching cases.
