Abstract

The economic and social conditions nowadays have greatly improved, encouraging more exchanges and cooperation between countries. Thailand and China have been cooperating with each other continuously for a very long time, both commercial and tourism cooperation. Thailand is a country with various type of attractions, each region has its own distinctive character, which is related to the famous souvenir of the place and one of those souvenirs are food and snacks.

This article focuses on the research of Thai snack that are increasingly popular among Chinese consumers, called “Taokaenoi Seaweed” the main target group of research is Chinese consumers. Consumption behavior of consumers is the starting point of this research. The article in this thesis is from the research and analysis of data from the questionnaire according to the current domestic and international market for travel goods, study and analyze of market demand and consumption of “Taokaenoi Seaweed”, study strategies used by the company in business operations, analyze of factors affecting consumer purchasing behavior, analyze competitors, analyze the use of Chinese language in the service including problems occurred and opportunities encountered. Also advised the strategy to increase the sales and development of the use of Chinese language for business in the company to be more effective and maintain market leadership position.

The results of this study reflect that in addition to focusing on various strategies related to business, good service skills to increase customer satisfaction is another important element of business success for the company. The company is also implementing this method but maybe not completely. The company should try to meet the needs of target customers, especially Chinese customers as much as possible to increase the competitiveness of the company and opportunity to expand both domestic and international markets. It also promotes and develops tourism and tourism products in Thailand.
