International Affairs with Pandemic Challenges in COVID-19

Abstract

A new coronavirus was discovered in Wuhan, China, in late December 2019. The Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) has caused one of the world's largest outbreaks because the virus can spread through the air. As a result, social distance has become essential, and it has brought a new way of life, the new normal, to people. Learning and education are crucial for humanity's development to encounter the most difficult challenges and adaptations. Educational institutions were also challenged and needed to survive in this crisis, especially in international affairs affected by travel cancellations and border closures. This article aims to review and present the challenges and options of educational institutions in implementing policies on international relations practices to successfully overcome the crisis and carry out overseas projects as the "New Normal of Education". For instance, online learning, classroom instruction, blended learning (online and on-site), or homeschooling based on the learner's enquiry, resources, and the suitable method to tackle COVID-19.
