The Development of Teaching Method: Using Bang khae School's Song as Teaching Materials for the 3rd Year Primary Students of Bang Khae School (Nuang Sangwan Anuson)

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to create and examine the efficiency of the music lesson called “Bang Khae School’s Song” to be taught in a music class of the Bang Khae primary school (only year 3) and 2) to compare the learning outcome of students by using of the music lesson called “Bang Khae School’s Song”. The research sample collected by purposive sampling was 27 primary school students in the 3rd year who studied in term 2/2562 of Bang Khae School (Nuang Sangwan Anuson). The research instruments included the music lesson called “Bang Khae School’s Song” used to teach the samples, based on one group Pretest – Posttest design.

The research showed that the music lesson called “Bang Khae School’s Song” was consistent at the very good level (82.52/82.59), which was higher than the expected rate (80/80), and the progressive percentage was 22.78, which was higher than the expected percentage (an increase of at least 25 percentage), and the effectiveness index was about 0.57 which was higher than the satisfied figure (0.5). The statistical significance was determined using a t-test technique, found that students taught with the music lesson called “Bang Khae School’s Song” was higher than the pre-test at the statically significant level of .05.
