Participatory School of Management Academic Administrators at the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 18

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the participatory- school- management opinions of academic school administrators and teachers at the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 18, and (2) to compare the participatory- school- management opinions of academic administrators and teachers the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 18. The data were classified into their working experiences and school size. The samples were 370 academic administrators and teachers. Simple size applied Taro Yamane's formula. Random sampling applied multi-stage strategy. The research tool was the questionnaires with the reliability at 0.94. The analytic statistics were frequency, percentage, standard deviation, and one-way ANOVA.

The research results revealed that: (1) the participatory- school- management opinions of academic administrators and teachers at the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 18 in overall and each aspect were at high level; and (2) the participatory- school- management opinions of academic administrators and teachers; who had different working experience, at the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 18 in overall were not different but in academic aspect and general administration aspect were different at .05 statistical significance whereas in other aspects were different.The participatory-management opinions of academic administrators and teachers from different school size in overall were not different but in academic aspect were different at .05 statistical significance whereas in other aspects were not different.
