DEVELOPING A CAUSAL RELATIONSHIP MODEL OF ENTREPRENEURIAL ORIENTATION AND BUSINESS INNOVATION CAPABILITIES TO INFLUENCE THE PERFORMANEC OF THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY IN PHETCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this research was to study 1) Entrepreneurial orientation, business innovation capability and performance 2) The causal influence of entrepreneurial orientation and business innovation capabilities to influence the performance, and 3) Check the consistency of the causal relationship model of entrepreneurial focus and business innovation capabilities that influence the performance of the manufacturing industry in Phetchaburi province is consistent with empirical data. Is a quantitative research. The sample consisted of 458 factory managers or general managers. The data collecting instruments were the set of 5 scaled questionnaire. The statistics use for data analysis are percentage, average, standard deviation and the statistical analysis of the relationship of the structure with the statistical program.


The findings showed that: 1) Entrepreneurial orientation, business innovation capabilities, and the overall performance is average in the high level. 2) Entrepreneurial orientation has direct and indirect influence on performance. Entrepreneurial orientation has a direct influence on business innovation capability. And business innovation capabilities has a direct influence on performance.  3) The model analysis results are consistent with the empirical data as provided by the hypothesis. By the following Harmony Inspection Index X2=100.274, X2/df = 1.475, GFI= 0.975, NFI= 0.953, CFI= 0.984, RMSEA= 0.031 has good consistency for all values.
