THE TOURISM APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT: WISDOM OF CULTURAL HERITAGE OF MUEANGPRIBPRI PETCHABURI PROVINCE (CHINESE-ENGLISH-THAI)

Abstract

The purpose of this research paper was to investigate data, cultural heritage of Phetchaburi, design and create the application, and evaluate the quality of the application the research samples were 150 tourists who visited Phetchaburi province. The tools used in this research were questionnaire for information needs and application design, and the quality assessment form after using the tourism  application: Wisdom Cultural Heritage of Pribpri, Phetchaburi Province, Chinese-English -Thai version (draft version). The results from studying showed that most tourists preferred 4 parts of application information in the following order; the part of cultural tourism ( = 4.02, S.D. = 0.697), the part of local wisdom (  = 3.87, S.D. = 0.715), the part of local games (  =3.86, S.D. = 0.736), and the part of tradition (  = 3.77, S.D.= 0.794). The designing of the application focused on the Used Experience (UX), icons to communicate information technology to link to the Google application (Google Map) to facilitate smoother traveling by easy look-up of location details by storing multimedia data in the database through Firebase connection which divided into 4 modules were category, setting language, travel list, and detail. The result from using the tourism application showed a high level of opinions (  = 3.98, S.D. = 0.71) which are the designing of the application, information display, the processing result, and the program installation.
