KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT OF CULTURAL TOURISM PROMOTION BY COMMUNITY-BASED TOURISM OF MON COMMUNITY, BANGKHANMAG SUB-DISTRICT, MUANG DISTRICT, LOPBURI PROVINCE

Abstract
The objective of this research is to create, manage, and summarize knowledge as a model for cultural tourism promotion by community-based tourism of the Mon Bangkhanmag community systematically. Then create manuals and organize training sessions to expand the results to other communities. By being a participatory action research from Mon Bangkhanmag community, supporting organizations, and Thepsatri Rajabhat University. By operating 3 steps which are 1) creating knowledge in cultural tourism promotion by community-based tourism of the Mon Bangkhanmag community. 2) Management and summary of knowledge and then create a learning guide, that can be expanded and 3) the training can be extended to other communities.
Which the operation results in each step are: (1) Able to create, manage, and summarize knowledge for cultural tourism promotion by community-based tourism of the Mon Bangkhanmag community 4 consecutive steps, namely 1) creating knowledge, understanding and participation, 2) developing potential for driving tourism (community storytellers, welcome shows, cultural souvenir products, local foods, community products, create learning media, and community landscape), 3) promoting tourism marketing channels, and 4) manage communication to create recognition. (2) Able to summarize knowledge and create a manual for cultural tourism promotion by community-based tourism in every step. And (3) have extended training to other communities with potential and readiness in Lopburi province.
