Causal Factors Influencing Business Performance of Thai Food Exporters

Abstract

          The objectives of this research article were: (1) to study business performance of Thai food exporters (2) to study level of opinion regarding factors influencing business performance of Thai food exporters (3) to develop causal relationship model of factors influencing business performance of Thai food exporters. Quantitative research was conducted by using questionnaires as the research instrument from Thai food exporters 480 samples, randomly selected based on proportions and using simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation, and structural equation modeling technique was used to test hypotheses.
          The results of the study were as follow (1) business performance had the overall level of opinion at neither agree nor disagree level. (2) the overall opinion on factors influencing business performance had in agree level. (3) the causal relationship model of factors influencing business performance was consistent with empirical data. Total quality management, corporate social responsibility, marketing capability and dynamic capability had direct effect on organizational innovation with statistical significance at .05 level. Total quality management, corporate social responsibility, marketing capability, dynamic capability and organizational innovation had direct effect on business performance with statistical significance at .05 level. Total quality management, corporate social responsibility, marketing capability and dynamic capability had indirect effect on business performance through organizational innovation with statistical significance at .05 level.
