Developing PISA - Like Mathematics Task to Support Student’s Mathematical Literacy
Main Article Content
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to 1) design and develop a mathematical task in line with PISA's assessment guidelines that promote mathematics literacy of students; with PISA's assessment guideline. It was conducted by using design research in 3 phases: preparation, design, and evaluation. In the third step, there is a 5-step assessment of tasks/mathematical problems, namely self-assessment. Expert assessment individual trials small group trial and field trials The target group used in the research was 30 students in Grade 1, aged 12 years and over (according to their willingness to participate in the project). The research tools were 1) a recording form, 2) an interview form, and 3) opinion questionnaire Qualitative data were analyzed using analytical narration. Document analysis and analyzed the opinion questionnaire by using frequency, mean and percentage.
The results of the study are as follows:
1. The results of designing and developing mathematical tasks that are in line with PISA's assessment guidelines that promote student intelligence. It is possible and affects the skill development of students.
2. Mathematics tasks that conform to the designed PISA assessment framework affect students' mathematical intelligence.
