Morality in Work Performance of the personnel in the company 3rd. Army Area Headquarters, Ban Khlong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of the morale in the work performance of the personnel under the Company at the 3^rd Army Headquarters 2) to compare the personal factors to the morale in the work performance of the personnel under the Company at the 3^rd Army Headquarters and 3) to study the guidelines for the development and improvement of the morale in the work performance of the personnel under the Company at the 3^rd Army Headquarters. This research applied the Mixed Methods Research with the Quantitative Research by collecting the questionnaires from 379 personnel and the Qualitative Research by the in-depth interviews from 10 informants. The statistics used frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test. Results of the Research 1. Overall, the level of the morale in the work performance of the personnel under the Company at the 3^rd Army Headquarters was at the high level. 2. The comparison of the personal factors to the morale in the work performance of the personnel under the Company at the 3rd Army Headquarters found that the personnel having the different status, years in working, income, level of rank and organization had the different morale in the work performance at 0.05 of statistical significance. However, the other factors had no the different morale in the work performance. 3. The guidelines for the development and improvement of the morale in the work performance of the personnel under the Company at the 3rd Army Headquarters was the commander should find the source of the problem and the related personnel, search the ways for the problem solving fairly, and select the ways for the problem solving suitable to the personnel and organization. Moreover, the commander should administrate the organization with the transparency, apply the participative management, and provide the personnel for the duty. The promotion should compile the positions into the central account.
