Abstract
This research was a survey research on the opinions of supervisors towards characteristics of graduates according to Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, TQF:HEd, Public Administration program, Northeastern university. The objectives of this research were 1) to assess the opinions of supervisors towards characteristics of graduates according to Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, TQF:HEd, Public Administration program, 2) to use the obtained information for improving curriculum and developing characteristics of graduates to meet the learning standards in the next academic year. The research started with design, creating questionnaire, finding the questionnaire’s reliability and sending questionnaire to 23 supervisors. By choosing specific information providers that students work in the workplace. The basic statistics used to analyze data comprised mean, percentage and standard deviation.
The research results were found that supervisors were satisfied with the opinions towards characteristics of graduates or performance ability at a high level, when ranking supervisors' opinions towards characteristics of graduates from highest to lowest, it was found that moral and ethical aspects were at the highest level with an average of 4.52, followed by interpersonal skills and responsibility at a high level with an average of 4.41, the cognitive skills were at a high level with an average of 4.39, aspect of knowledge was at a high level with an average of 4.35 and the skills of numerical analysis, communication and use of information technology were at a high level with an average of 4.30, respectively.
